Lockington & District Business Centre

Every Town Needs One.... So did we....... had a Car wash too until the Drought hit us too hard last year.

Yes we also sport a small launderette within the confines of the business centre, this convenience came about from tourists that were passing through town, on their way to or from their holiday destinations that would park in the nearby lions park, and wander around town visiting the museum and other points of interest, then sadly find they could not wash their dirty clothing if they were staying in the area for a few days.

The launderette boasts two industrial washing machines along side two industrial gas dryers.

and is availible for use 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

You will need to bring your own soap powder, bleach or detergent.

The launderette is cleaned and maintained once again by the volunteers

so if your in town and doing your washing drop into the front office and say g'day and you may even get a free coffee while you wait!

The Car Wash

Sadly last year  (2007) we had to decommission our car wash facilities due to water restrictions in the area, this has hurt the centre as this facility was very popular with locals and tourists a like.
