The Heart Of the Business Centre

The Garage was purchased, more through necessity than need, with the loss of the bank, sales of fuel in the town had declined and it became apparent that this business concern was not viable to the existing propritor, meanwhile the community were looking into building a new facility to interest a community bank to the town, the mission now was to keep fuel in town as well as entice a bank back .

Plans on the bank building were put on the back burner when someone suggested that maybe a community business centre may be more suitable to the town.

The Bank & Foyer

This community centre could include the bank and the garage along with an array of other services.

The Op Shop & Foyer

As funds were already in the pipeline for the building project a meeting was held to find out if the people who donated said funds would care to reinvest the funds in the purches and development of the new project.

We now boast a Garage with a small shop which enables locals to get their fuel needs at local prices along with oils and lubricants, we also carry a small but general supply of motoring items such as auto globes, fuses, and wiper blades, a small supply of general tools , auto batteries, fuel cans, and auto fire extinguishers for those that get caught out and need emergency supplies.

We have started to expand our lines as now we have a selection of The World famous Elmore Oil products including their rubs and scented soaps.

Our helpful Volunteers are on hand to assist with such things as photocopying, faxing and printing.

Not to forget their abundance of local knowledge for the tourist.
